Children with serious burns often suffer psychosocial consequences. This study evaluated the pilot of a 6-session psychoeducational intervention newly designed to support the wellbeing of children who experienced burns.
We explored how university students’ mental and physical health changed during a 12-week on-campus exercise program. When students enjoyed exercise more than usual or more than others, they reported better mental and physical health. These findings highlight the importance of prioritising enjoyment of exercise when designing exercise programs for student wellbeing.
Conversion practices (sometimes referred to as 'conversion therapy') refer to interventions that aim to change a person's sexual orientation or gender identity. While these are often associated with faith-based settings, they can also occur in secular healthcare contexts. The practices are associated with significant psychological harm.
